Danika Green’s series explores the relationship between personal environments we create and the subsequent identities we form within them.
Originally from Florida, Danika is a Fine Art graduate with 12+ years of experience in analog photography working primarily in medium format and 35mm film.
As early as she could remember, she was always drawn to photographing just about anything and everything. Whether it was people, home or objects she owned, taking photos was her way of hoarding moments that quickly became memories. Over time, this concept of photographing the moments in-between has grown into a deeper artistic form of interest by expanding this approach to others – to hear similar stories of how other people’s own space represents them, shapes them and being able to capture hints of who people truly are.
She continues to develop her practice through an ongoing exploration of the ordinary, intimate, and often overlooked.
