Hello — I’m Paul.
I’ve been looking at photographs for a long time now. For twenty years I ran a photo agency in London, which mostly meant looking at an enormous number of pictures and slowly working out which ones stayed in the edit, once the enthusiasm wore off. Photography Chronicle, which I started in March 2022, is the same habit without the commercial demands.
There’s no algorithm here and no chasing trends. I curate the work myself; it gives me a real kick finding great projects and offering up to people something they may not have seen. It’s free and carries no advertising, and I intend to keep it that way.
I’m committed to featuring photography projects, stories and personal work of the highest calibre, both from emerging talent alongside more established photographers in search of a good outlet for their work.
