The first thing you realise when you’re on a river taxi on the Buriganga is that no one other than you is bothered that you might die. Crossing the busiest river in Bangladesh, in a tiny paddle boat, with passing oil tankers is just an everyday life thing for the people of Dhaka.
It’s this everyday life thing that I love so much about street photography. And the fixed lens on my X100f means I can’t help but get closer to it. It usually means I end up talking to people. And that often leads to me doing the things that they do every day.
